1st Statue and Thanka painting course at the EC (update)

Dear Friends,
We would like to warmly invite you to join us for the first Statue & Thanka painting course at the EC. The course will take place from February 24 through March 1, with Tashi Gyaltsen and Silke Keller.
Tuesday through Friday, Silke will give an introduction to Thanka painting, and intermediary instructions in statue painting. Everyone is invited to join, regardless of prior experience (beginners and advanced students are both welcome.) During the weekend, Tashi Gyalsen, a Tibetan Thanka painter living in India will give additional instructions.
There will be three sessions each day, one at 9AM, one at 2PM, with the time of the final session still to be determined.

Each participant is required to bring the following:
Material for Statue Painting:
Sketch paper A4, pencil, eraser, and ruler
Paintbrushes sizes 1, 2, 3, and 4
Acrylic paint by Schmincke: black, light ocher, camino red, light ultramarine, dark ultramarine
Gouache color: white, camino red, indian yellow, blue, black
One Statue (Shakyamuni, Tara, Karmapa or Tsatsas), which you would like to paint yourself
Materials needed for Thanka Painting:
Sketch paper A3 (firm paper), pencils, erasers or eraser pens, ruler, and geometric triangle
Paint brush, pointy: size 3 and 2
Gouache colors: camino red, indian yellow, blue, green, black and white
