Getting your local sangha connected with the EC
February 26th, 2010
Regular sangha visits to the EC
Last year, a new way of joining in the EC’s daily life appeared, apart from the popular Country weekends, sanghas started to organize Europe Center visits several times a year. It has many benefits – the visiting sangha does a new thing together, it is easier for new people to visit the EC, regular visitors can more easily join the activities and the EC team can plan ahead. But most importantly, regular encounters strengthen friendships and the sanghas’ connection with the EC.
The pioneers of this were the creative Hamburgers, they even started a special EC travels blog (in German) www.ueberallegrenzen.de. If you don’t read German, check out our blog reports one and two. The newest to come regularly are the Viennese and others are very welcome too!
If your country, region or center feels surplus and interest, please join the club and email us (join {at} europe-center(.)org) to plan your sanghas visits.
Running an EC event
After the German Middle-Rhein region brilliantly organized the 2010 January Keypeople meeting we want to offer the opportunity to other centers and regions. There are always many weekend events planned ahead at EC’s events calendar and if your sangha would like to come and organize one, drop us a email at join {at} europe-center(.)org, so we can plan a date together. It is always fun to have friends around and the EC teams appreciates every help with organizing the rich program we try to offer at the EC.
Organizing an event is also the fastest and most intensive way to get to know the EC thoroughly from the basement to the roof. The EC crew will of course gladly assist you and you will be really at home here afterwards.
