Regular sangha visits to the EC
Last year, a new way of joining in the EC's daily life appeared, apart from the popular Country weekends, sanghas started to organize Europe Center visits several times a year. It has many benefits - the visiting sangha does a new thing together, it is easier for new people to visit the EC, regular visitors can more easily join the activities and the EC team can plan ahead. But most importantly, regular encounters strengthen friendships and the sanghas' connection with the EC.

We would like to invite you all to the first joint country weekend* at the Europe Center; the weekend will be hosted by both the Italian and Lithuanian sanghas. The Northern and Southern edges of Europe will meet to start an unusual and powerful connection. We are looking forward to meeting many more of you, making this event even more international.
A new idea was developed with the EC key people (country contact persons) last spring. So called "country weekends", which take off in November 2009.
The idea is that your country or region organizes the whole weekend at the EC. You organize the program however you wish, (you may want to invite your own international traveling teachers, or plan outside activities e.g. skiing, climbing etc.). You organize the shopping, budgeting, cooking, cleaning and so on, simply put - run the whole weekend from beginning to end, with support from the EC crew. The weekends are announced in the official EC program ...
The first "country weekend" hosted at the EC will be organized by friends from the Czech republic.
Come to meditate, meet Czech friends, learn about the development of Diamond Way Buddhism in the Czech republic and last but not least, enjoy the delicious & nutritious food that will help you make it through the tough winter to come!
