Transmission Days at the Summer Course
We are pleased to share information about the upcoming Transmission Days at the summer course. Similar in concept to the Transmission Weekends that take place at the Europe Center, we will have a chance to collectively feel our living Kagyu history. This course can go further than the weekends as we will have more countries and people present and more time along with Lama Ole's presence. As next year marks the 40th anniversary of Diamond Way in the west, it is fitting that we broaden the understanding of our roots.

Arriving by car
Due to the weather and number of people registered, we ask that you park at the Froschweiher car park (the last car park before the EC, by the lake) and we will provide a shuttle service from there. We do not advise anyone to drive up the EC road at the moment, but in case you decide to here's some advice from our experience: you must have good winter tires. Unless you come with a four wheel drive car we also strongly recommend that you have snow chains, ...
For the 3rd Transmission weekend, many friends and traveling teachers from centers from around the world were invited (see the list bellow). They will share the experience and knowledge they have gained in the last 30 years of building and living in the first Diamond Way Buddhist centers.
We hope that this weekend will give us all new ideas, solutions and inspiration how to deal with the many different topics that come up when founding and running our centers. 
Initiation change: Due to the many concerns raised regarding the Red Wisdom initiation and related damtsig, Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche will now give a Karma Pakshi initation (date to be confirmed), without any connected damtsig.

The EC is essentially a place of transmission where people come to inspire and motivate each other and pass on experience of how Dharma spread in the West and how our centers around the world function and have functioned in the past. A great medium for that are weekends where we invite experienced teachers and friends to share not only Dharma and common
practices but also their experiences from times when the rest of us had not yet been in our centers.
