Hungarian weekend
Another friendly invasion! From the land that gave us the hologram, the biro, and the Rubik's Cube comes a huge wave of energetic sangha friends, hosting their own weekend in their own way. They cordially invite all and sundry to come and partake of the activities.
PROGRAM
Friday evening:
• 18.00: arrival to EC, welcoming the guests traditional way, serving soup for dinner
• 21.00: meditation
• 21.30: spontaneous folk-dance and live-music in the BauCafe, chill out in the basement of the villa
Saturday:
• 7.30: wake up with "live music”
• 8.00: meditation
• 8.30-10.00: breakfast (traditional sausages, bacon, different creams on toasts)

Inspired by the friends who come from far countries to host weekends in the Europe Center, our local power places are also getting involved. This weekend, centres from the local region will come together and will also discuss their involvement in the project. Your chance to get the real Bavarian experience.

we gladly announce a new EC event calendar for the first half of next year 2011. Many events already found their stable place in the calendar every year, so choose your favorite ones and come again.

This is a big one.
A transmission weekend, with the unforgettable Lopon Tsechu Rinpoche as the topic. Some of his very close friends and traveling teachers (Maggie Lehnert & Wojtek Kosowski, Pedro & Doritt Gomez, Caty Hartung & Gergely Porkolab and Jakob Sintschig) will take us back to the years when Rinpoche was giving teachings, initiations and building stupas in almost every corner of the world. Their stories will help us understand how great Rinpoche was, and why he is still in our hearts.
This year is full of changes and flexibility. Let us share the latest EC events updates.
First of all, the 1st International Center Meeting planned for the last weekend of October 2010 is postponed until before the next summer, to August 1-2, 2011, just before the next Summer Course starts. This will give a chance to friends from far away to plan, come and also stay longer than just two days.
The second update is that the Polish weekend will not happen this year. However, you can look forward to meeting our Polish friends on the weekend of 8-10.4 2011.

The third classical music concert will take place under the arcades at Gut Hochreute (or inside if it rains) on July 4th at 11:00 a.m.

"A Journey to the New World"
Classical music with vocals, string quartet and piano
It will conclude the currently shown statue exhibition (last guided tours from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.). As last year, some top-class artists are again expected to give virtuoso performances of vocal, string music and piano in this wonderful atmosphere. The entrance fee for the concert is 10 EUR.
Enjoy some drinks and snacks in the wonderful atmosphere of the courtyard ...
On June 18th 2010 we are starting with a new concept of special work'n'joy weekends called ECtropy up!.
