• Pillowcases for our dormitories Contact

  Did your grandma leave you her old pillowcases that don't fit your new stylish 21st century bedroom design anymore? Well, we wouldn't mind to use them, on the contrary! In order to provide our guests with a better experience in our EC dormitories, we need an unspecified number of pillowcases of these parameters: size: 60 x 40 cm pastel colors nice-to-have: patterns from the 50's and 60's
• Children’s chairs Contact

  Our newly renovated lounge in the villa's basement serves 2 main purposes. At night it's all about hanging out with friends, movie watching etc. But during the day the lounge is a children's space - an indoor playground with toys and all that goes with it. We would like to equip this space with a couple more of children chairs similar to the 2 we already have - kid's size, made of wood. Sponsors for new and donors of used chairs both welcome.

  We have an opportunity to buy cheaply used scaffolding from a local company that went under. That would be a good long-term investment as we would not have to rent it in the many construction works ahead of us in the coming years. Sponsor(s) would be greatly appreciated!

  To make the dormitories more beautiful, we are looking for picture frames fitting the house style. The frames will be used for thangkas or photos from courses etc.

  We are looking for white plastic or aluminum garden chairs and tables. They will serve our guests and hard working friends after a long day, to rest outside enjoying the lake view.

• Experienced metal worker Contact

  Our Site development team is looking for an experienced metal worker who could come, design and weld a new fire staircase for the Diamond Room or so-called "big gompa". As the staircase is required by the fire protection rules, the work can (and should) begin immediately.
• Cook until the end of June 2010 Contact

  The EC is without a chef until the end of June 2010. A cook or cooks for any period of time would be very very welcomed!
• Windows-project supervisor Contact

  We have a great wish for this year - to renovate all the old windows in the main villa. To realize this project, we need a manager who will get a transmission for the work from our chief restorer Beate and then supervise helpers during the whole project. As the work has to be done in the warm and sunny (well, most of the time) months that are coming, we are looking for someone who could spend here most of the summer. You do not have to be a joiner / carpenter for this work - general manual skills, some feeling for restoration, time and enthusiasm is all you need.
• Restorer of old furniture Contact

  The EC has a lot of old furniture - sofas, chairs, lamps, cupboards, buffets etc. which needs restoration. Anyone skilled and experienced in this field, please contact us.
