A Buddhist’s mala, also sometimes referred to as prayers beads or a rosary, is pretty much inseparable from its owner and of high idealistic and spiritual value.
Therefore every year, our mala repair stand in the gompa tent is highly frequented by everybody who is missing a bead or longs to make his or her meditation “helper” even more beautiful and precious.
Diligently and with great joy, our voluntary mala repair team threads countless malas every day, ties protector knots or finds just that very rare bead in the right size and color to replace the missing one.
Thank you, dear friends – what would our Malas be without you! 🙂
