Summer Course 2017: Day 7

Two empowerments given by Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche in one weekend: today, we received the initiation into the main protector of the Karma Kagyu Lineage: Black Coat (Skt. Mahakala).

Rinpoche started preparing the empowerment at 9 in the morning, with everybody else meditating during the process. Many friends came spontaneously for the weekend and the empowerments, we ended up being more than 3.000 people. Therefore, also the blessing line with Rinpoche and Lama Ole went on for many hours, with our amazing teachers giving just another highly inspiring example of joyful activity for the benefit of others – with unending diligence and strength.

In the evening, Rinpoche gave explanations on the Shojan vow. Rinpoche offered a 24hr shojan vow the next day to those who that wanted to take it. What a weekend full of great blessings!
