Teachings with Lena Leonteva

Diamond Way teacher Lena Leonteva from Moscow shared her inspiring and extensive knowledge of the Karma Kagyu lineage’s history with us for a whole weekend.

Lena was born & educated in Russia. She took Buddhist Refuge with Lama Ole in 1992 and started teaching, at his request, in Diamond Way centers in 1998. She has been living in the Moscow Buddhist center since 1998. Lena is the editor of the Russian version of the Buddhism Today magazine and in 2011 did a PhD in history, with her thesis on Marpa’s works.
