Xmas at the EC

Yes, we do keep with tradition and Western culture even as Buddhists, and so of course we also had a beautiful Christmas tree and a nice celebration on Xmas eve!

Around Christmas and New Year’s, it’s cozy family time in the EC. Chilly Winter Wonderland outside, lights and love inside! The little ones had great fun decorating the tree, and even more joy of course while unwrapping their presents underneath the tree afterwards.

And after an amazingly delicious dinner, also the older ones got their share of presents in our annual round of “Wichteln”: everybody brings a wrapped gift which should not have cost more than 5€, puts it to the pile of gifts… you know the story. We had great fun and thoroughly enjoyed the festive time together!
