Building up for the Transmission Weekend

Since Lama Ole had been gone so long, many hundreds of people registered for the Transmission Weekend, and we did our best to prepare things in a way that everybody would have a great time despite the “masses”…

Building up a tent for shoes and luggage in the new courtyard, cleaning everything everywhere in all the buildings, distributing responsibilities, planning the beds, getting an extra permission from town so friends could put up their private tents for the weekend, taking the normal pub furniture out, getting the beer benches and tables in, planning, buying and preparing tons and tons of food, preparing the evening events, organizing the “flow” of people during the mealtimes, making lots of good wishes for the weather to be sunny (they worked!) so people would not have to squeeze in the buildings all the time… the Transmission Weekend really kept us busy for a few weeks before it actually took place!
