Lama Jigmela today gave a very special initation into the 15th Karmapa Khakyab Dorje, who was a remarkable Bodhisattva. Thousands of people came to participate in this precious event.
A day full of very touching moments: The nephew of H.H. the 16th Karmapa Rangjung Rigpe Dorje, Lama Jigme Rinpoche, and Lama Ole Nydahl shared their fond memories of their teacher.
Finally we were able to welcome Lama Jigme Rinpoche back to the Europe Center! We are so happy to find him in excellent health and spirits! Rinpoche presented Lama Ole with a beautiful statue of Lama Shang from Tibet.
The International Summer Course is just so much more than what’s going on in the gompa tent… luckily our photographers are also capturing lots of those countless moments in all corners of the Europe Center making up the magic!
Last night Lama Ole was presented with his new book, fresh from the printer: “Die Vier Grundübungen im Diamantweg”.
So much time with our teacher! And so much time with all the friends presenting their projects and centers from all over the world!
